dragonfly found on my walk
the turtle was here!
vetchling blossom
tendrils and shadows
a place to rest
my neighbor is carving
an owl, perhaps?
long view
working out the envelope for the edition
almost ready
there have been three work day mornings
and the weekend
since vacation began.
i'm feeling like myself again.
see those leather circle weights?
shanna leino made them.
useful tools, and snazzy, too.
a little buzz that's neither bee or hummingbird:
Grampians Texture, march, 2016.
i'll be teaching.

I love your photos - like little windows into your life!
ReplyDeletesharmon, that's very nice, thanks. windows are good things.
ReplyDeleteI love Shanna Leino's bone books, have only ever seen her work in photographs but she is a huge inspiration as is Daniel Essig!
ReplyDeleteMother Nature has more artfulness in her little finger than all the rest of us put together ... and still we create, because how could it be otherwise?
ReplyDeleteeach picture is a tiny world, small miracles. so happy you are now doing the work you love without the stress of the hooligans.
ReplyDeleteBeing able to walk without having to look over your shoulder has to be quite a relief.
ReplyDeletemo, shanna is my hero. i have one of her books (not a bone one) which i may show on the blog sometime. she is wonderful. dan e. i haven't met, but (surprise) they both share the same mentor/teacher--jim croft.
