weaving and gray

kozo account book moro-jifu,  milkweed and hosta paper
composition games
not smoke and mirrors
just me in the old milk house resevoir
making gray for caliban
out of fresh black walnuts, 
water, 
pickle juice vinegar, 
iron & copper pipes
on paper and three cotton cloth strips

  8. fiona, just before the end of august is always like this. a few more days and we rev up for school, etc, but now, now it's peace and warm and waiting.

  13. Grey holds other colors quietly. There is pink and yellow here. I can't get enough of this weather. I hope it isn't the calm before a storm.
