habu love

i was grounded last night by a good, long
phone conversation with aimee.
so
when i looked at the work out this morning (before i go to work)
it didn't look as hopeless as i'd been feeling
 little eucalyptus pages
and this, THIS amazing paper and silk
habu yarn.
i could tell you how much i love this yarn,
but you can see, perhaps what a quirky personality it has
but you have to touch it
to really understand.
 i'm not a knitter,
crochet is the technique i prefer
so this little odd elk bone hook
that i made with jim croft
is getting her test run.
i think this is a new book.

  6. Habu is simply...well...too tempting to resist. I've several skeins of various yarns waiting for one day. Love the look of your Habu. And so delightful to find you're a crocheter as well. Enjoy!

  7. as i was reading your blog, the thought that came to my mind was: imagination station
and a little tune played in my mind
i love how you can see something in something that most would see as nothing
    except, that is, for artists
    who see something in everything
    love

joni, you could order just one skein; u.s. mail reaches the north country, so why not alaska? (ha-ONE skein)
mo, yeah, i saw that, too. i couldn't buy it all...
