getting along

 so this little girl is my favorite of the heifers next door
it's her very pretty face
 though her buddy looks good in the evening light
 over at the new place cellulose takes on a new meaning
for this papermaker
 a little stream
 runs through the field
under the dirt road
and away
and i had a grand mail day
yesterday.
5 books,
delicious!
~~~
but, there is more.
this week, friends lost two very dear ones.
both losses unexpected.
love to you.
  3. Am very interested in how you like the Limp Bindings/Vatican book. It is pricey, but if you think it's good I may spring for it. I have her book about the Talinn bindings and think it's really good.
  5. I'm reading an excellent book on the Vatican written by John Thavis. He was on the PHC cruise. Not a Catholic, his approach is very real...no pedestals in this book.
  6. Wild Braid was a gift from a friend of mine... good stuff. Cellulose here, too, nice and warm. Sorry to hear about your friends' unexpected losses, intense.
  7. 'Wild Braid'..I gave that one to Jude's mom one year, and my copy was a gift from dear friends in Massachusetts. I've always wanted to visit his garden. Maybe I will next Summer.
    I love all of Mary Oliver! She will be in NY signing copies of her new book October 9th nearby...lucky me.
    Your neighbors are wonderful.
