therese, i KNOW! and it's so possible it will all wash away into the ocean before the work is done. i like the fact that the excavation has been positive for the community. and i love these faces.

barry, yes, it would be sad. i'm so glad the elders agreed to have these pieces excavated and kept to teach the children.
