refuge

this
 morning
barely past
 7:00
 i stop and look
 and the sun keeps illuminating
 more
 of this wetland
 maintaining
a refuge for many many birds
and their friends.
 and just up the road
 another group
 of ladies
 greet the
frosted winter sun.

  2. The ladies make me smile; they look so wild and woolly! I am about to learn mono-printing; I need to remember the lines of the trees and rushes above the water...

  11. Hi V - loved the I'm,ages on FB - but even more in your post - such tender light in the early morning - just caresses everything - not to harsh to show flaws and soft to give soft reflections. Go well. B
