  1. the burdock was about all that i didn't recognize...3 out of 4 not too shabby. i once received, as in accessioned, an artist's book that was made with hair...the paper was made with hair, a braid was used for the binding (like a tape) and the box it came in was a bed of hair. when i took it out of the container, all the "free" hair started shifting and floating. it was a little weird and creepy but i must admit, i have never forgotten that piece. and how will all these float together or apart. happy hearts' day to you and ms. wendy too.

  3. It also looks a lot like what I stare at when I make winter branch drawing with white brushstrokes on black paper!

  4. henrietta, hair stuff is rather creepy, this is maybe a year of hair that i decided to see if i could make hold together in a round...may have to ask my needle felting friends for help!
fiona, on, no, i've started something! seriously, i clean up the hair of three dogs and my own 18 inch give or take long hair...it seemed silly not to try to see what i could do with it!

  13. nancy, i've been storing my short skeins after dyeing in the eco-baths this way, they're pretty, and easy to use and all those old spools get a new life.
