  1. Funny - shelf-fungi/lids?

Glad you got some. We still have loads. Tonight, we have a howling, scary wind! And I don't have tomorrow off. Oh well :(

  6. I've been reading about the anthropologist T. Ingold who wrote about walking as a way to bind ourselves to place, time, our own history, relationships.

I thought of you and your photography essays and how you walk through your own place and bind it to yourself.
Even when you have to wade through snow. (not walk)

  7. Hi V - the white creates such soft shapes of even the hard edges. However - hope you are warm. B

  8. valerie, they are ice shelves from where the water level has receded in a marsh, and then new snow arrived
    henrietta, those "stitch" marks
    jean, yes, who?
nancy, the snow just waits to be seen
donna, we've had enough to give some away, just barely, though!

judy, i am certainly bound, as you write. thanks for that.
    neki, barely there
barry, one learns how to dress for this, but you can never forget that it is beautiful, but deadly

  9. Love that second photo. Seeing similar images although we want more snow and it's all going somewhere else. Grrrr. I love the winter most of all. Be warm!
