over 777, geesh!

this morning's post
all about drawing with
barbed wire on snow
was number 777.
besides that, what i didn't tell you
was that today was almost wendy's last.
but she rallied.
i stayed home making preparations
but the day became
just a day (though i am very tired)
outdoors
i found one of my favorite funny wintertime things
snow fleas.
yep.
ski print, detritus,
and snow fleas
i haven't figured out the new zoom
on the repeat of my old camera
 walking wendy later on
we found a curlytop
(i love my tools)
this came in the mail
a couple days ago.
i'm rich in friends.

  1. Yikes... a roller coaster, is it? Glad she rallied. And tools, yes, VERY good things and likeable, too!

  7. That's a LOT of snow you got there, Velma! bobbi c., in Texas, where it was 84 yesterday.

  8. How good that you are fine living with her end days. i remember it well, those times with mine (all of them)---777 has got to be some sort of numerological event, some mathematical something to take note of. We who live alone in cavernous cities also blab on and on given the opportunity. Tomorrow we will have a little more snow, but it won't be nearly so pretty as where you are.

  10. V- some days are just .... Sorry to hear that Wendy appears to be close to departing - always hard to go and to let go of those we love. Drawings in the snow yesterday was so beautiful. What a contrast between days. Thinking of you. B
