news news news!
this border collie wishes to make an announcement:
her family's hannah was given the gaylord brothers internship
at syracuse university library special collections
she will be looking for a place to live
in/near syracuse,
so email velma if you have a lead.
i like to read natural history
above you see four books
my favorite has these
hand colored plates:
a blue jay
and an elephant
from 200 years ago.
this is the kind of book
hannah will get to know!
Dear Wendy-dog, please send Hannah a very big congratulations and tell Velma that I like natural history books as well... but she probably already, kinda knew that.
ReplyDeletevalerie, hannah is not at home but i'll tell her when she gets here. her mum spends WAY too much time reading those things, instead of taking me for endless walks, i get a measly three miles a day.
ReplyDeleteLucky you, Wendy, I wish I got three miles a day!
ReplyDeletea good news day (with good looking dog and books to celebrate)
ReplyDeletewow, you both must be so proud of your girl!
ReplyDeleteBTW, i have that same Nature Through the Seasons book. love all the details in the drawings.
valerie, three miles is ok now that i'm 12, but i used to be so bored...
ReplyDeleteronnie, thank you very much
lf, isn't that book something, so lush and over the top, but fine. velma tells me she used to read and re-read it.
oh great! wendy's going to have an inside look.
ReplyDeleteFantastic! Well done Hannah.
