while i slept

an old friend arrived leaving the rock book changed.
it has begun.

  2. when snow sneaks in at night, it's a treat in the morning. on the other hand, hannah is away this winter, so shoveling will be my job.

  4. As much as I don't look forward to winter because it seems to last forever here, there is something magical about waking up to the first snowfall of the season. Thanks for sharing yours. I'm with you in the shoveling department with Conor having moved away-not fun.

    a very similar scene from another life in
    michigan.
    looking at these photographs brought a flood
    of sensory flashes...the
    sound
    of first snow, it's scent.
