Velma it must be magical to wake and find the snow has visited - and covered the rock book. As we head into summer here Barry says it looks really cold! Stay warm, Fiona

when snow sneaks in at night, it's a treat in the morning. on the other hand, hannah is away this winter, so shoveling will be my job.

As much as I don't look forward to winter because it seems to last forever here, there is something magical about waking up to the first snowfall of the season. Thanks for sharing yours. I'm with you in the shoveling department with Conor having moved away-not fun.

i remember seeing this.
a very similar scene from another life in
michigan.
looking at these photographs brought a flood
of sensory flashes...the
sound
of first snow, it's scent.

Velma said...

oh you know the scent?! the hush?!
