pictures of here

feeling a bit wobbly, uncertain and confused and tired all at once.
she who keeps me grounded and on schedule. and makes me laugh. just look at the detritus in her beautiful border collie coat.
this building is no longer a solace.
but here's a little something up high in my barn, of interest to many amish farmers, but i was thinking of barry when i photographed it!
missing roof
yesteryear revisited, ian, hannah, sean, julie, etc
still hanging in there. that's me.

north country public radio did a little bit of pr about my opening. todd moe and hilary oak are tireless in promoting the arts in northern new york. the piece is here, about open studios and my opening. and mention of the rock books.

  2. Wbat Jude said...and I am especially thinking of you...knowing now where you are...a sense of the place -- because I grew up in Huntingdon, QC, Canada...not far (16 miles) from the NY State border...and NE of where you are by some miles. The country never leaves one's heart...my ancestors settled there in 1826...

Your rock books are amazing. You can do this. It will be wonderful.

    Blessings!

  4. Hilary and Todd are so great - their enthusiasm for the arts and support for artists really shines through every time they do an interview. I'm looking forward to seeing your show tomorrow - if they will let me in - I'm at the snotty and hacking stage of fighting off a sinus infection. (But that's actually good - it means I should either be feeling much better or be hospitalized by Studio Tour!)

  7. I can't come to the opening, to my deep discouragement, but I may be able to carve out some time later in Nov to come see the show - do you have a postcard for the show you might send me?

And thank you for the "hanging in there" chuckle. I just love it when someone's post makes me laugh out loud at the computer.

  10. V-Congrats on getting the 'books' to the exhibition. I also love the photos of the old barn - such character in the worn narure of the building ; and of course I love the rusted pulley wheels - just a pity they would cost so much to pop in the post. Go well, create well and continue to stay strong. B
