  2. I'm so pleased to hear you are fine - I was looking to the big moon last night from this side of the pond and thinking of everyone in sandy's path.... I have a friend in NYC I'm hoping I hear from in the next little bit.... I saw pics on the news - not good.

  5. it was not chilly at all (by our standards) and once dawn began i found virtually no problems here. no so elsewhere, we were on a 2 hour delay for school.

  6. I too was watching the glorious full moon and hoping that all my new blogging friends in the US were keeping safe. Glad you didn't have too much to deal with Velma. Not so for others, as you said.

  7. I talked to that same moon last night! So glad to hear you and Valerianna are well. I think of Michelle and Jude, as well as anyone else who lived through Sandy.

  8. susan, we got off easy up here. not so down in the city, along the coast. even the great lakes responded to the disturbance.
