this time this book found me
it may be that these things, stones, bones, stitches, skin, have a thing or two to teach me.
i feel obligated to listen.
to learn.

Mmmmmm. Stones and Bones, lots of stories in my world with these two things. Interesting, in many indigenous societies, the stone people are the keepers of wisdom, and our bones, being mineral as well, where we access our deep stories. I think I've seen that book. Might be a good thing to seek out again, thanks!

ReplyDeleteI have spent some time going over the publishing site that you posted recently - what fantastic books - I just wish I could have seen inside the books a little more. Tantalising. I think your family visit there probably had a very big impact on your child(ren?) Maybe a lifetime impact. Gilly
ReplyDeletecarol's work is fantastic. she remains one of the "girl printers", known for strict high standards, hard work, imagination, and beautiful books and broadsides. you could always buy a book, you won't be disappointed!
