a little stitching

on claudia's sleeve
 couldn't keep the line straight
it ran off and became a landscape
 and then kept undulating
 and then exposed a watcher
a very unhappy, silent watcher

  1. oh, i don't know if it's unhappy - it reminds me a little bit of the beginning of the little prince: what's under the hat? cheers velma, been away too long.

  5. Oh I see the watcher, and more than one, pensive, brooding, perhaps unhappy...one might be a cat and then who can know what a cat's thinking.

  9. The movements in the earth, they're not as we'd always have them be. Even the unhappy movements need to go somewhere, not just be told to shut-up.
Your stitching, Velma, were you a Venetian dressmaker in a former life?
