another day of shifu

the second day of the second class was intense.
everyone was concentrating deeply.
i threw new structures, new concepts (weaving)
into their understanding.
but these are brave and victorious women.
three or four generations present, which makes an amazing mix
of energy.

it's a grand group of shifu learners.
i am such a proud teacher!

  4. lynn. my daughter hannah loves hands at work too, and has done quite a bit of photography of them.

henrietta, it was when i put up the photos that i noticed the generations. i love that--all these lovely women from the last several decades. a wealth of wisdom.

  6. I learned in the years that students are good if the teacher is good. This shifu making is fascinating, but perhaps I should learn spinning first?!?
