a woman and her dog
what the porcupine did
maple sap from the injury above
it's coming
it IS
wuh-hoo!
although there is little mud here, there is plenty of punky snow and accumulated detritis. and yesterday morning i saw the porcupine falumphing out of the yard and into the woods. i didn't get a photo, though, because i also smelled skunk and wasn't sure where it was. never surprise or annoy a skunk.
It is coming...it is!
ReplyDeleteAnd always leave a skunk before he stamps his feet.
The pictures are beautiful... I've never seen a porcupine or the damage they do to the trees. Does it kill the tree?
ReplyDeletea skunk has to "aim", raise tail, and bend head to one side looking back at the victim. then lookout! apparently the head bend is part of the mechanism for firing.
ReplyDeleteI posted up a woman and dog pic at the weekend!

There must be a lot of us truding through the mud in various parts of the world!
