I like the squares - but also the way the colours make your eyes do a little dance to come up with what's really going on...your work is always beautiful.
that was a new one on me, i had to google camelid, hair of llamas, alpacas etc. so this might be an old Sth American textile? anyway this is definately beautiful and the maker was extremely skilled. k.

there are many many beautiful textile traditions, but i just love the ancient peruvian treasures. in one place i worked, there was a piece in the collection. i used to sneak upstairs and adore it.
magic--and years of learning and hours of work. love the strong colours. looks like it was first dyed with yellow, then red and finally top dyed with indigo. a treasure
i'm still trying to wrap my mind around warp scaffolding...i mean i get it, just haven't done it-
