  1. She's a great snow-dog that one! Sorry this winter has been so harsh and so hard to handle. Shall stop complaining about our grey summer skies and rain! Altho its 40 degrees C where we are headed today eek!

  2. V- cold, cold, cold - remind us only to visit you in fall or spring. Wendy does seem to revel in it - but she has a great coat. The dog at the cross roads shot is a good image. B

  4. have you spun Wendy's brushings. Carded with a little Merino it makes beautiful yarn and even dyes well--and is very warm.

  11. We had a glorious sunny day, with windchill it was about 19 degrees. To the bones cold with the wind. Sometimes that seems worse than the gray, it's such a tease.

  13. deb, oh, for some sunshine...
indie, wendy was dying to run and at 12 she still leaps into the deep snow, though she doesn't stay in it for long.
jude, four legs and the ability to adore sound like a great plan to me.

  15. Our golden retriever is 13 and she is like a puppy in the snow. Rolls in it, eats it, bounds through it and buries her face in it. Fun to see your Wendy enjoying it. Most of the other dogs we know don't like it at all. Wishing you warmth and some sunshine...

  16. wendy just loves snow, always has. i'm a little bit weary of the white stuff now, and there's way more coming, so they say. jude's had lots more than we have, but 26 below zero beats her out!

  17. 26 below is just nuts. It is raining ice here right now and may last until midnight. We are to have an inch or more of ice. Hearing it hitting the windows and roof is unnerving. The boys have hunted out their little flashlights...
