this window is on my neighbor's tractor shed
and this is the little bit of japanese indigo
that i planted in a pot
it weathered a tough summer
drought and flood in the pot
now blossoming and setting seed
at school
a pathetic attempt
i wanted to see
if i could raise any seed
a very rocky week at school.
yay friday
retreat and relax...
ReplyDeletesounds lovely. frustrating to be so unproductive.
ReplyDeletethat round window and crackled red paint is a terrific sight (as is little plants valiantly attempting to secure the next generation)
ReplyDeleteyay friday indeed, loving that shed window :)
ReplyDeletetells me that indigo is meant to grow in our harsh climes...go little plants, go!
ReplyDeletehappy friday to you!
have a relaxing stress free weekend, take some more lovely pictures. hope the indigo seeds produce new ones for next year.
ReplyDeletea little bit is something.
ReplyDeletelove that window!
ReplyDeleteDeep breath, Velma...very rocky indeed.
ReplyDeleteronnie, and h.t., i think i'm a little cracked...
ReplyDeletenancy, i think it's a go. my little patch did well, and if you have a good spot, maybe even remay cover, you're cookin' with gas.
jean, thanks, i see little seeds in there.
jude, absolutely
serena, me, too
cait, breathe, you too, out on dommie on the trail...a deep breath for me. please.
Not as pathetic as my attempt. I only managed two sprigs and sprouting!
ReplyDeletepenny, this pot is the leftover...i had a nice little plot that i harvested leaves from twice.
ReplyDeleteHope you had a nice Saturday. Your little plants are giving it there all it seems! I'm recovering from a day with my students here, nice visit, cold woods, nice hot mulled cider. Yay Sunday!
ReplyDeletelove which 2 panes of glass are missing from that window..
ReplyDeleteas it is meant to be !
and, roz, the lousy paint job STILL shows after 40 years!
