four dog night

 four dogs
two setters, one border collie.
one memoir.
wendy says, too many dogs. the others are fine with the largesse. sometimes the three visitors are a bit hard to get used to. the setters, when they're not working, are cuddlers. even demanding at times. when it's 10 degrees outside, two setters are fine.
i have bad cat allergies, so i'm totally aware this could be horrid for many of you.
they sleep in their kennels, so they understand personal space.
i think.

  2. Laughing...my dogs have no sense of personal space, none. Guess where they sleep?

  4. They're beatiful, what a pleasant way to spend an evening. I'd love to get dogs but I'm out of the house too much, hopefully one day :)

Will the best intentions of having my kittens sleep in the kitchen at night they still seem to've worked their way into my bedroom, woke this morning with two little cat faces an inch away from mine, whiskers tickling my nose...

  5. V-this just made me laugh. When I worked in central Australia some Aboriginal people had a saying that the night was a four dog night - meaning it was so cold outside that one needed four dogs to create a decent windbreak. Your photos don't look cold just cosy. B

  7. Heavenly picture! I wouldn't want to move. (and looks like some of my evenings with a book propped on a pillow)

  8. what a wonderful image of peace. We are often camped out with three of the four cats but the grumbling never ceases; each thinks they are the only one with bed privileges.

  9. Wonderfully warm photos - I love the way the setters have become completely boneless. Now that's relaxing!
