neighborhood

a new neighbor, one of three, halter is loose
it's misty this morning, but not blue. i think something's ill with my camera
lovely to be up early and not have to be somewhere
a happy saturday.
a cow is calling, many robins, and it's grayed green.
a day for chores and making things.
a summer edge to this day.
peaceful
as the day breathes.

  2. It will be dawn soon here. Just let the dogs out and the robins are singing up a storm...

  3. animals are the best neighbors-heard a coyote last night, haven't for a while. i have a soft spot for grays and spots, flea bitten or dappled gray is the best!

  5. hope the camera's ills are soon cured, a little indigo tint is magical but too much magic is not so good.

  8. Hi Velma - I really like the blue-hue; its a gentle wash over the world that makes it look calm and serene. But good luck with getting it back to normal as well - not everyday needs to be blue I guess!

  9. I like the blue hue too. It might be your white balance function, I spent months taking photos with a blue tinge before realising that the camera was still set for taking photos in the flourescent lights from uni.

  10. Velma - We too were shrouded in cloud yesterday and that second photo really captures the magical mystical feeling of it.

  11. i agree with the white function setting. i constantly have to change mine from the setting i use for shade and the setting i use for full sun. lovely blue anyways.
