Love the nests! I'm into nests right now... and we never really got rain, phew, I hate rain on top of snow. We did get about 5 inches of snow. Nice to have a home day, wish you well and not much ice!!
ReplyDeletevalerie, we could use some snow now!
ReplyDeletelovely nests and pages (not so lovely having no electricity.... does a lack of power affect how you can stay warm? I hope not!)
ReplyDeleteronnie, yes, unfortunately, and if the power is off for too long, i can't keep the place warm enough with the fireplace. i will someday be off grid and independent.
ReplyDeletethey look so happy with you! i love what you are doing with your books, the way they are becoming exactly what they need to be and how they are all related to each other. so lovely! i hope power returns soon.
ReplyDeleteaimee, it flickered several times, went out. came on. flickered, went out...i took a little nap. flicker several times. ugh.
ReplyDeleteoh, stay warm. love the nests, you will have to build one for yourself. I once dreamed of living off the grid - and then got old-er and realized it wasn't practical, no easy access to firewood - and burning pollutes and on and on it goes.
ReplyDeletenesting was on my mind, jean, though i didn't know it then! thanks for that!
ReplyDeleteWhat fun to come for a visit with you....haven't been here for a while, so I had nests, and stitching, ice, red exploratory, and your wonderful words for several posts to scroll. be well and keep fibering.
ReplyDeletethanks for checking in, maggie, and may you not get any ice. it's a nuisance!
ReplyDeletegorgeous pictures, the pages are looking amazing.
ReplyDeleteBrrrr I hope the power is not off too much.
ah the nests! how timely w. no electricity.the book has a snuggly quality too.
ReplyDeleteV-so it is cold over there. Looks like the birds nests have frozen over - no wonder they fly south for the winter. Stay warm. B
ReplyDeleteI really really love those pages Velma. Hope you can stay warm somehow...(and connected!)
ReplyDeletethanks, dian, i'm doing fine
ReplyDeleteneki, we have snow buntings that visit from the arctic, and we have snowbirds that are people who travel south in the winter!
barry, keeping warm!
fiona, they are promising, aren't they?
Perfect pages. Would love to touch. Stay warm.
