  1. Love the nests! I'm into nests right now... and we never really got rain, phew, I hate rain on top of snow. We did get about 5 inches of snow. Nice to have a home day, wish you well and not much ice!!

  4. ronnie, yes, unfortunately, and if the power is off for too long, i can't keep the place warm enough with the fireplace. i will someday be off grid and independent.

  7. oh, stay warm. love the nests, you will have to build one for yourself. I once dreamed of living off the grid - and then got old-er and realized it wasn't practical, no easy access to firewood - and burning pollutes and on and on it goes.

    neki, we have snow buntings that visit from the arctic, and we have snowbirds that are people who travel south in the winter!
