friends of jude hill and spirit cloth
jude is safe, her family is all safe and ok,
but she's tired of not having electricity.
says the power may not come back until tuesday
i am weaving, biding my time
making books
school tomorrow
waiting for house guests
doing laundry
i do not have irene to clean up after
Thank you so much for the update about Jude. I follow her blog regularly and was really beginning to be concerned for her safety. It's good to know that there are so many awesome people looking out for one another.
ReplyDeleteGood to know... started school this morning, gotta put on my other brain, its taking some time to reclaim. Maybe getting up before 6am is part of it, the fog continues. I love the book on cloth.
ReplyDeleteThank you for letting us know about Jude. After a while, our middle-aged eyes tire from weaving and stitching by candle light...
ReplyDeleteThere is a bite in the air here too, now...autumn is coming to the Canadian Rockies...snow on the peaks...
Blessings and thanks again.
Thanks Velma!

ReplyDeleteVelma - I love your book! Am pleased that you avoided the worst of Irene; she was powerful and even from over here, we got a sense of the damage she has done. Go well.
