first the amazing golden hosta (remember?)
and this second batch is smaller
greener.

remained uncooked
gin petty writes of how ornery it is,
always cockles, no matter how much restraint in the drying.
that's my experience also, but i don't actually mind.

doctor says to inspect my finger in two weeks.
if there's no healing, it will be time for the orthopedic surgeon.
cross your fingers for me,

surgeons - oh no! - its fingers, toes and eyes crossed for you - what sort of jeans are they anyway that can inflict such an injury, pretty vicious ones by the sound of it

V-really sorry to hear about your finger - hopefully with full rest it will show improvement - I'm always looking for a way to avoid the surgeons. Paper just looks great - always amazes me the patience required to create it. we are a bit out of contact - no mobiles or emails at the moment - only slow Internet connection - bit flakey. Go well. B

you should be fine, he's only giving you the worst outcome aspect just because they have to.
how long will it be by then? 4 weeks or 6?

oh, I've got everything crossed. time to turn those jeans into pulp & paper (I spin reconstituted jean's fibre). love the hosta paper, I never would have guessed.
